This is how easy it is to start a Treatment with orthocaps®
The orthocaps® TwinAligner System is easy to integrate into your practice routine. Thanks to comprehensive training and a clearly structured treatment process, our users generally work with orthocaps® without any problems. See for yourself!
Simple online case assessment
Whether your patient can be treated with orthocaps® is determined through our user portal. Simply upload extraoral and intraoral photos, and we’ll send you an assessment within 48 hours. This service is free of charge for certified orthocaps® users.
Medical history and placing an order
At the start, we need: A-silicone impressions (upper and lower jaw), an A-silicone bite registration, photographs, a panoramic X-ray (OPG), and, if available, a lateral X-ray (FRS). You can easily send us digital impressions online using open STL files.
Precise 3D treatment planning
Based on the impressions or intraoral scans, we create a precise digital 3D simulation that shows the possible treatment outcome, which we then send you for review. You can access and, if necessary, edit or adjust it via your online orthocaps® account.
Customized orthocaps® aligners
Once you’ve discussed and confirmed the treatment goal with your patient, we begin manufacturing the tailor-made orthocaps® aligners. You’ll receive the first set of trays for the first phase within 2 to 3 weeks.
Clearly defined treatment phases
For each treatment phase, you’ll receive, for example, ten numbered sets of aligners (DAYcaps and NIGHTcaps), each worn for two to three weeks for at least 22 hours per day. After explaining the usage to your patient, you can provide them with one or two sets for self-treatment.
3D evaluation for therapy monitoring
At the end of each treatment phase, a detailed 3D Treatment Evaluation Report (TER) is created. This allows you to quickly respond to any deviations for example, if the aligners were not worn for the required length of time and adjust the treatment plan accordingly.
BY THE WAY: If any questions arise during treatment, our specialists are happy to help at any time—by phone, via TeamViewer, or in person on site.
